In my 20's I've been stopped by cops more times than I could count.I went to college in upstate NY. My senior Iwas excited to get a car used 94 Nissan Altima nothing flashy. Once I got that car I was getting pulled over by police on average once a week. Campus police were cool but the town police another story. Got stopped and searched for fitting discriptions, one notable stop was for broken tail light that upon getting to my destination wasn't broke. Another notable a friend(white young lady) was teaching me to drive manual in her car and we get stopped with them asking her if she's alright does she need any help while giving me the 3rd degree. After she was tramatized at the profiling while I was pretty much unfazed bc I pretty much expected to get stopped I had to calm her down. It got to the point if I was driving back home to Bklyn for the holidays I stopped driving all together around town. And it's always fun trying not to move an inch and explain that I have toreach for my ID as a cop already has one hand on his gun in a holster... |
