You are showing your white privilege by going by a calendar that promotes colonialism and world domination. Everybody knows that a year is measured by rotation around the Sun. December 22nd is the shortest day of the year in terms of daylight. That is the real New Year. But anyway, history lessons aside, I realize when the new year begins, but I'm just telling you that Trump did not come at the power until the last week of January which we all know this.
