The USA would still be up to its neck due to the oil situation. The situation in Iran has ****-all to do with Israel and everything to do with the Cold War and oil.And this board is impersonal, so don't try underhanded and diversionary tactics like that. BTW, one thing that the Islamists hated was that the Shah extended suffrage to women. On top of that, he instituted examinations for clerics, so that the one with the biggest mouth wouldn't be considered a valid cleric. And wasn't it Bakhtiar that allowed that Ayatollah Khomeini back into the country? |
