EXCELLENT POST!I will add that while some of the statues are works of art that deserve to be preserved regardless of the subject matter, most of them are mass produced garbage that has no historical value whatsoever. Those can be auctioned off as surplus and if the high bidder chooses to melt them down, so be it. |
