I wonder how that works come pension time? I worked with a guy named Mark & after gender re-assignment surgery he became Marsha. I'd overhear her talking to the RR retirement people and always refer to her original sex as "When I was known by another name" when benefits distribution was discussed.
Would sex change be simply treated simply as a name change when it came time to collect retirement benefits?

Just wonderin.
