Furthermore, an elevator, if put in there, could be the final coffin in the nail for the 23 route, allowing for it to be killed. (Former #23 Boulevard East customers could instead use the 128 instead from Port Imperial on Boulevard East---assuming that private property isn't in the way.)The buses from the #23 (which number about 6-8 in maximum usage) could then be redirected to other uses, such as improvements on the 2 route (or buses could be taken back and redeployed elsewhere in New Jersey, such as Camden). |
