Note that I'm not stating that I actually would *do* anything to a Planned Parenthood (legally or otherwise) other than avoid doctors who practice there.That said, laughing at their misfortunes from the sidelines and not wanting my tax dollars to fund them is totally Libertarian. I also recognize it is a belief whether unborn should be considered humans or not, and until such is proven one way or the other (if possible) the law is never going to make anyone happy. My belief is that it is. With that firmly established, the arguments in favor of abortion seem as ridiculous as aborting the childhood of minors that parents are not financially or emotionally equipped for. You won't convince any pro-lifer to change sides unless you can change that core belief, which is almost impossible (and if anything the belief change usually goes the other way, towards a pro-life stance). |
