Maybe most would fail (white black whoever) but does it matter? You are the company you keep. If the person depicted on the statue represents the cofederacy and the confederacy fought to keep the onstitution on slavery do really think people who are decendents of slaves would not have a problem with this being celebrated?Taking slavery out of the equation all together, Who did the Confederacy go to war against? The United States of America. Which means they were the enemy of the United States of America THS country and lost. They should be celebrated. As a matter of fact ppl were called unamerican for doing much less than celebrating treasonous people. |
