No, but he was closer to Bush* in letting the Paki's have the bomb. I think there was another that I can't remember, unless it was his initial anger at Israel for destroying Iraq's bomb. And if the terrible Charlie Wilsons war movie is correct, he was happer with the Taliban than the soviets in Afghanistan.I get the impression Reagan was good domestically and big-picture, but when it comes to these little ISIS countries, it was out of his concern. *Bush, who didn't let the iranian one get closed. Even though the radical left claims Cheney was in charge, he was the one who wanted, and rumored to have had Saudi clearance for them to get rid of the Iran problem. |
