Yes, the Gold Line has a number of stations that are in an open cut, and there are some tunnels on the route between Pasadena and East Los Angeles. There are also a few elevated stations as well. Some of the tunnels have stations on the route and it reminds me a lot of my beloved Sea Beach.BTW--I know the Brighton has three of those mini-tunnels so prevalent on the Sea Beach. Is this picture that of the Brighton Line? I know 20th Avenue is on the Sea Beach but when I see the "D" Train my first inclination is that we are not looking at the "N" Line. |
