Let me give even his campaign staff the benefit of the doubt. This tweet could have been retweeted several times before it came to the attention of a staffer, so it need not have been seen on an antisemitic site.A weaker argument in support of Trump (since his sense of strategy is so miserable) is that Trump does not gain through supposedly subtle antisemitism. He desperately needs to win Florida, where something like this can't possibly help. Getting more votes in Alabama doesn't help him. |
