Wouldn't someone who knows a thing or two about ham be in a better position to bring the Passover ham? And if you've never had ham, then there must be a reason for that. I can think of some possibilities, and if any of them are the case, then it would be insulting to you to be asked to bring the ham. And if they didn't know you'd never had ham, then surely you'd have then told them, at which time they would then ask you to bring something else. And if they still asked that you bring it, then that's asshole-ish and stupid. |
