Yeah sure, but that situation would likely only arise if someone becomes religious after previously having not been. And in such a case that person would/should just arrange to spend Shabbos somewhere else until they can move to a more Shabbos friendly location. Then again, a building that high would probably have a doorman and/or frequent other residents coming and going to take care of the elevator for you, assuming you were ok with that. |
