Same goes for business owners. Ranches are businesses. Bundy owns a home and a ranch, plus whatever additional assets he has....like the money he never paid the government, perhaps? The sole exception to this rule is Medicaid coverage for long term care for the elderly, where one can retain their primary residence and still qualify for coverage under the government program. But one still has to liquidate everything else. It's a cruel, cold world in republcan rules yunno. And they apply to everyone, including Cliven Bundy. |
