Moreover, said individual inquired as to why exactly that was. Let me just say this to that... the reasons are myriad and the confines of this board are too small to contain them so at least extend me the courtesy of validating your initial hypothesis by listing ten of the things I have failed to achieve in my life:1. NYC subway motor 2. NHL hockey player - FAILED 3. Garbage man - FAILED 4. Chef and Baker - FAILED 5. Watercolor painter - FAILED 6. Professional Bass Fisher 7. Professional Bowler - FAILED 8. Metropolitan Museum of Art docent - FAILED 9. UL approved patent application for ironing board design - FAILED 10. UL approved patent application for rotary reel lawnmower design - FAILED That list right there is far from exhaustive and you people are evidently all knowing so what's the point of my going any further am I right? The one thing I hope to achieve in my lifetime is to somehow, in some way, find myself on a street corner in the oppressive heat and humidity of a East Newark summer afternoon operating my Sno-Cone and Shaved Ice stand. The pushback from the City of Newark/County of Essex Commercial Light Industrial Licensing and Oversight Board has been nothing short of an endless calamity catastrophe cataclysm call it what you will but understand this I will continue to fight the power that be until my last breath, then beyond. As to the individual in question you know who you are thanks again for the inquiry. |
