And niether would I.The distinction between supporting a belief and actively preparing to engage in armed insurrection in support of that belief seems particularly vital to me. How would you like to be arrested for what you believe on the assumption that anyone who believes that is actively plotting to overthrow the United States? Also, if you find yourself agreeing with Joe McCarthy, you are almost guaranteed to be wrong. |
