I answered that in another post. Much like the "Tea Party," which I also do not care for, there is no organizational structure to the "Black Lives Matter" movement. There is no central figure that you can call a spokesperson, unlike organizations like NOI. It is all small, separate groups operating under the banner of "Black Lives Matter." Especially when other "Black Lives Matter" people are not distancing themselves from that message, it is fair to say that that message is supported by the other groups associated with that movement. Republican and Democratic parties are different as there is a leadership structure that his, at least publicly, disavowed many of the nutjobs in their ranks. |
