I am sure that the Founding Fathers did not really think that they themselves (or “we” as rendered here) really established the USA (versus “America”), but God Himself did. And of course, like ancient Israel and Judah or any other of the nations known as “gentile”, God disestablishes nations for going against His law (Daniel 2:21 among others). |
