I forgot that you were unable to understand relatively simple concepts, like the idea that people respond to social pressures, that power corrupts, and that actions can have effects other than the ones you explicitly intended to cause by taking that action. Look, why don't you go back to your little fantasy world about me (Niletland, or whatever you call it) and let the adults talk for awhile? When you come back, I can explain to you that a combination of (1) Giving people power, (2) teaching them to dehumanise others, (3) isolating them from the consequences of their actions, (4) teaching them they are exempt from the law, and (5) subjecting them to social pressure to attack a marginalised population will lead to them attacking a marginalised population. I'd explain it now, but you have yet to show any indication that you'd be able to understand any of it. |
