I shouldn't have to preface my comments with this but I will anyway: I've made it quite clear about my feelings about gays and my long-time support for Gay Marriage (and marriage in general).That said, why is it so important for you to pretend that religious Judaism and scripture has nothing negative to say about homosexuality. What part of Leviticus 18:22 do you not understand: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination." Or Lev 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them." Now how do I reconcile this with my positive feelings toward Gays? Simple, I don't feel the need to reconcile my honestly held beliefs with scripture. Why do you? |
