So canceling out by non-citizens is not disenfranchisement?No, it's not. Merriam-Webster defines disenfranchise as: "to deprive of a franchise, of a legal right, or of some privilege or immunity; especially : to deprive of the right to vote" In U.S. law, disfranchisement most commonly refers to the removal of the right to vote. A non-citizen voting doesn't deprive a citizen from his or her right to vote. |
