BUT, I WAS there! RIGHT where I told you I was going to be, as I was in the area.

(a) You told me not to come; you never confirmed despite repeated requests.

(b) You claim you showed up two hours late in case I came anyway.

(c) Pics or it didn't happen.

YOU never showed up.

How do you know? You wouldn't even recognise me— for all you know, you could have walked right past me.

The simple fact is, you chickened out and now you're desperately flailing about trying to find a convincing lie.
