And, just WHO would be entitled to them? How about we start with the people who were personally subjected to segregation? Many of them aren't even retired yet. Then maybe we can talk about their children, who were forced to grow up in poor families because of the segregation their parents faced. Some of them are probably younger than I am. I oppose it because it's impractical and it punishes people who were born or came to America long after slavery was abolished OOH! That's a real Freudian slip you just made there. I said segregation, but you didn't even notice— you've inadvertently proven that you haven't actually understood anything I've said; you're merely reciting talking points memorised by rote. Might doesn't make right. RIGHT makes right. So you support reparations for segregation, then? It's not inconsistent at all. You just happened to have a moment of lucidity and realized what I'm really about... Oh I've known all along— you hate black people, and while you recognise they were harmed by segregation, you don't care because you don't think they count. |
