There was the Cherrios commercial with the black father and the implication he had the bad heart bc the daughter poured cereal all over him bc her white mom told her it's good for your heart.That falls exactly into what Luch said....they HAD to show that father with a WHITE mother, so that it projects the fact of interracial marriage.....and fathers are allowed to look goofy next to their wife and kids (another point that was made). the point was that he can't be the goofy one if there was a white male present in the commercial too. |
