The bigger a country's infulence get's, the harder the eventual fall is. Britain went from world power to being bombed by Germans.Britain's supposed downfall is overplayed. It's the only country in Europe with half-decent armed forces. It also has a population roughly three times that of New York State, so it's hardly as small a country as it looks on the map. Okay, the UK is nowhere near as powerful as the USA, but it's still way more powerful than most countries on earth. |
