It's an amazing success.It was intended to decrease the number of uninsured and save lives - it has done so. It was intended to keep insurers from screwing over the middle class -- it has done so. It was intended to slow the rise in health care costs -- it has largely done so thus far (work in progress). All of the above while preserving the capitalist basis of health insurance, based on a conservative plan invented by the Heritage Foundation and originally implemented by Mitt Romney. Just how do you define failure? |
