Yes, but everyone generally agrees that a creditor has the right to collect a legal debt while a small contingent of people believe the government does not have a right to collect taxes. I have never heard someone describe taxation as "ordered to pay against their will by threat of violence" or similar phrasing who didn't believe taxation was illegitimate. |
