But if you read in a bit more detail (not that there is much detail), it seems like the DAs want more budget and have gotten more budget.DeBlasio's many meetings with Sharpton seem often to have been brief and are probably more aimed at persuading him to keep his rhetoric toned down so that he doesn't inflame the Eric Garner situation. Seems like a classic case of the squeaky/obnoxious wheel getting the grease. The DAs aren't going to do anything crazy if DeBlasio ignores them; Sharpton might. |
