What I am is a publicly traded company, so anyone who wants to "abort" any of my operations is free to buy my stock and attend my shareholders meeting.If you want to shut down all of my operations, though, you'd need to buy me outright since using a large ownership stake to financially damage minority owners at great cost to yourself is called a "detrimental strike," and while it's not illegal, it violates national customs and my corporate charter so I doubt you'd be able to get away with it unless you buy out all the other owners. |
