Does the data support there being an issue?Do the recent observations support any of the claims being made 15 years ago? Do the recent observations actually contradict the assertions being made 15 years ago? Are people able to make a living by being "climate change" experts? Have there been instances of data fudging by those same people who are making their living on being an "expert" in order to make the case for global warming? Were the alleged causes of global cooling the "usual suspects" / "convenient scapegoats" for the political ideology most outspoken about global cooling? Were the alleged causes of global cooling and of global warming one and the same? Was the political ideology advancing that global cooling was a crisis the same ideology that was advancing that global warming was a crisis? Were school children in the 1970's given assignments to warn of the dangers of global cooling and bring these home to their parents? Were school children in the 1990's given assignments to warn of the dangers of global warming and bring these home to their parents? Are school children today given assignments to warn of the dangers of climate change and bring these home to their parents? Are the political interests of the teacher's unions generally aligned with the political ideology advancing that global warming and cooling were crises? Is the timing of the renaming the issue from "global warming" to "climate change" not conveniently timed alongside the recognition that the data from the last 15 or so years show no consistency with what was projected by the global warming alarmists? ----------- Last, but not least, even if the answers to the above questions do not raise your skepticism meter and you think that "Global Climate Change" is an urgent concern -- then how do you answer this question Given the (in)accuracy of nearly all the theories and causation analysis so far, how can you be certain that whatever remedy is being proposed isn't actually going to make the problem worse? ----------- The world has warmed and cooled for thousands of years. It will keep doing so long after we are all dead. |
