When the threat was global cooling (only republicans remember that one) the gas of concern was Sulphur Dioxide and others which reflected solar energy away ... with China and India burning coal to beat the band, there's a lot of SO2 up there again. It's quite possible that might have something to do with it.DISCLAIMER: I am not an atmospherics or chemical scientist ... nor do I play one on tardchat. :) |
