Of which party? i belong to neither.And neither do I. I have no problem with any politician saying their faith strengthens their convictions on an issue, especially if it affects everyone and is not discriminatory. Oh please. You are one of the fist to scream the loudest when a Republican does it. You just can't bring yourself to talk bad against a Democrat, and actually take it one step further, and rationalize. I have BIG problems with any faith BEING the issue, meaning legislating morality based on specific dogma or endorsing any particular faith....like Fred's example of the ten commandments being displayed in government buildings Yes, or like saying you have a personal Mandate in Genesis given to you by God. Oh wait, wrong party, so it's not an issue to you. |
