There's more than a few, e.g., Ken Lay at Enron. He was convicted but died before sentencing. Another one is Leona Helmsley. Jordan Belfort ("The Wolf of Wall Street) served 22 months. And don't forget Martha Stewart! But you're correct, a lot more poor people than wealthy people do prison time. |
