So let's start with the basics

you're suddenly noticing something they've been screaming from the rooftops for years and accusing them of "ignoring" it despite the fact that you called them crazy for saying it up until about yesterday

Oh you fucking liar. Not a liberal soul has been "screaming from the rooftops" that press freedom is being lost under Obama—until now.

Just to answer your infantile questions, though:
  1. Freedom of the press is a natural right; that's why it's in the First Amendment.
  2. The SPJ is nominally correct in their complaints, obviously; but they're waking up a bit too late to the monster they've helped create.
  3. The SPJ is liberal, liberal, liberal. Of course, I'd expect you to call the AP "far right", though.
  4. Obama is the most liberal president this country has ever had. But since even Lenin and Stalin are to your right, you won't be able to see that.
