Wow, you're an idiot. That article does not say that feeding the meter is legal! That article says that the old meters had 2-hour parking limits and the new meters have 10-hour parking limits. In both cases, remaining in the same spot or within a certain area for longer than those limits, even if you have FED THE METER, is ILLEGAL. That is called FEEDING THE METER.
