OK, allow me to step in and referee this playground argument.Eugenics is technically a legitimate science in that if you wanted to selectively breed certain traits in a population, you could physically do that. We've been doing it with crops and livestock for thousands of years. However, any attempt to do it to human populations is inherently immoral, and most of the well-known eugenics programs were trying to selectively breed traits that aren't even genetic anyway. |
