My Mom, as a child of the depression, had great recipies for bread & rice puddings. Nothing went to waste. Combine creativity, cinnamon, raisins, eggs & that delicious 70 proof Ehilers vanilla extract (just a capfull) which was the "Icing on the cake" sorta speak! All stuff that this generation will miss out on. Where would they be w/o the microwave?? |
