Originally, I was personally pleased that he Bergdahl was freed. Of course, that was before I knew of the ramifications of the trade and the illegality of what obama did. I also was not aware that he might have been a deserter. Certainly, as more details emerge, it seems that he faces the prospects of going from one captivity to an even longer one if convicted.Previously you raised the issue of Reagan negotiating with terrorists. Of course this was not quite a parallel cars but the left drove iran contra into a huge scandal. It's pretty clear that this President has circumvented if not broken the law to make this trade. Worse yet, he appears to have made a poor trade - another foreign policy blunder for the gang that can't shoot straight. Certainly adding the letters POW to the growing list alphabet scandals plaguing the obama amateur hour. DOJ IRS VA ACA just to mention a few |
