A "failed business" is one that gets replaced by something that works, dummy.Not necessarily. Some business models are inherently unsustainable. I doubt anyone is going to make money selling used rat corpses, for example. Luckily, the "restaurant" business model is sustainable and what few fast food outlets shut down will be replaced by those which are more efficient. Government interference causing businesses to fold up is government interference, not business failure... There is no government interference in this case, unless you're arguing that there should be no laws at all. ...ask the railroads, which you clearly hate. Look, just because you believe that big government should have outlawed roads, cars, and airplanes in order to protect the railroads from competition doesn't mean I "hate railroads" for accepting the market's judgement. |
