I'm not aware of humanists being persecuted the way that Jews have been over the centuries...Seriously? Go to any country on the planet at any point in history prior to, say, 1940, and declare that God (or local equivalent) does not exist. (Or for "cult of personality" countries where the local equivalent is a real person, then deny that he's supernatural or otherwise exceptional.) |
