Out in the burbs, if you want something done, you stop off at Homer's Despot and then as you exit the parking lot, pick up a six pack of Mexicans to install it for you because today, kids don't learn how to fix their own toilet or cut their own wood. See what I'm yammering abotu yet? If we'd only bother teaching our OWN people to be self-sufficient and fix their own shit, there wouldn't be jobs for those "illegals" "off the books" ...Or perhaps if folks in the burbs were willing to take that black guy to their house and let HIM fix it for them. But no. :( |
