The point is that the claim that it's "bad taste" to make a remark about Judaism but "nowhere near as much bad taste" to make essentially the same remark about Christianity shows a double standard that the OTChat crowd doesn't seem to notice.Your lack of expertise in the meaning of Good Friday is very relevant to the debunking of the false point you were trying to make, that you can insult Christianity on this board but not Judaism. So Good Friday has nothing whatsoever to do with the crucifixion of Jesus? And the idea that Jesus "died for our sins" is not the premise of Christianity (not just Catholicism)? |
