What irrelevant fact? The fact that Jews have lived in Israel since time immemorial is relevant.It's not relevant to the claim that they have exclusive rights to Israel now. B. It does when it is an extremely important fact. If a book on astronomy said that the sun revolves around the Earth, would you have any reason to find anything else in that book to be valid and factual? If it said the sky was blue, I'd believe that— and your analogy isn't even relevant. Under the most charitable interpretation, you are trying to claim that the author is wrong about the physical facts that he saw because he's wrong about the semi-obscure history of how it got that way. |
