What does the British mandate have to do with anything? Britain withdrew and did not make any effort to line up a "replacement" government.Doesn't change the fact that they swept in as a colonial power. Withdrawing does not remove responsibility for the mess they left in their wake. 2. The West Bank and Gaza were occupied in 1967 to prevent Jordanian and Egyptian aggression. The West Bank and Gaza are occupied today. Focus on that. 3. Israel is not a theocracy. Look up the haredi. |
