And anyway, it's too late now to verify whether they happened or not.When my great grandfather was fighting in the Civil War, he uncovered a chest hidden away in an old plantation's basement. Inside, he found a glowing scroll containing God's final message to his creation and a set of instructions on how to successfully pass from this world to the next. Unfortunately, an angel descended from the heavens to confiscate the scroll as soon as he opened it. Thankfully, my great grandfather was a very eloquent man and successfully convinced the angel to allow him to transcribe the scroll before he took it away. I can give you the transcript if you so desire, but the pertinent information is this: 1. Passage into the next world will occur on the event of your death in this one. 2. Persons who have committed serious moral offenses will not be admitted to the next world. 3. Persons who learned of this knowledge but denied it will not be admitted to the next world. 4. Persons who meet the above criteria will not be admitted to the next world unless they have a valid visa. Visas must be acquired in this world prior to death; the visa fee is $465, payable to Nilet. Since he found the scroll during the civil war, it's too late now to verify whether it happened or not. So when can I expect to receive your $465 visa fee? |
