That's a convenient excuse for the liberal politicians. They're hoping it's determined to be too toxic for housing. That determination has not been made.They're against this project all the way, including Hevesi and Crowley and you can see it in the article below. I'm of the opinion they are calling it "Samaritan Village" to mock the neighborhoods strong Christian roots. Give it a biblical sounding name. Then use the "Jesus would want these people to have a home" argument in the face of Christians who will vocally oppose this project. link to liberal elected officials opposing homeless shelter |
