Depraved indifference and manslaughter are crimes. It would likely depend on other particular circumstances.OK, so you don't actually believe in the right to bodily autonomy. I don't suppose there's any point in arguing abortion with someone who simply doesn't believe in the right to bodily autonomy so I guess I'll just sell one of your kidneys on the black market. I'll make sure you don't wake up before I extract it, because by your argument, you only have the right to stop me before the procedure is completed. Just the way a driver of a car can't kill his passenger by slamming the right side of the car into something, or even just poisoning him, and say it was fine because he owns the car. Alice owns a car. Bob owns a human. One of these people is guilty of slavery. Can you tell which one? Because if you can, then you knew this argument was bullshit before you made it. Homo sapiens, perhaps? We've been through this. Can you honestly tell me with a straight face that you think this is human? |
