Damn, your right!! Haven't heard a peep anywhere, radio, TV print media, internet...nothing nowhere.

I know you did'nt ask but Ill tell you anyway. I grew up in Woodside, not far from the old WWRL studios on 58th st. Back then it programmed R & b & Soul music & gave many unknown Black artists airplay that WABC & WMCA (then top 40 NYC radio kings) would'nt touch.

Anyway, I was a nerdy lookin white kid who was into radio & used to wait outside the station to meet the jocks.

Over time, I met Al G. Rocky G, Jeff Troy, Gary Byrd & Frankie Crocker.
Dr King had a program on that station that I listened to called "Martin Luther King speaks". & I asked Frankie Crocker when I could see Dr King before or after one of his broadcasts.

I was told that it was a recording & Dr King dosen't come here to do the show live.
He asked me why I was so interested in Dr King??
I said that I was a radio enthusiast & was fascinated by his voice, his diction, his command of the english language...his sound.

Crocker says, "But what about his message??"

I say, I don't understand much of it, its to intense.

Crocker says "Keep listening..someday you will"

He was so right!
