I said that white juries often acquit white people who murder black people.You declared that idea to be crazy, necessarily implying that white juries do not acquit white murderers for racist reasons. I said that your denial of this obvious racism makes you a racist. You expressed confusion. So I explained that intentionally denying the existence of racism right in front of your face is a form of racism itself. Does that help? I honestly didn't expect I'd have to use the thread recap thing for anyone other than Terrapin Station. Oh, and FYI— the fact that you can't spell Trayvon Martin's name isn't helping your case that you're not a racist. There is, however, the option of claiming ignorance, which is less ignominious than racism, so I'd suggest that. |
