The reason why you can't is that facts are "is" statements. Laws are "ought" statements. You need something to bridge the cap between the "is" and the "ought." If you aren't going to use religion to do that, you have to suggest something else.This goes to the heart of the failure of a materialistic outlook on the cosmos. |
